Must Read Blogs and Op-eds — November 10, 2009 #hcr

I am completely at a loss for words this morning.  I have been reading the Stupak Amendment — and just sat back and thought — WTF.  Let me give you the short and skinny on this one.   In essence, it is a booby trapped bill that prevents women from getting abortions.  How does it achieve this?  By mandating that any insurance company that gets involved in the “exchange” would be prohibited from providing abortion coverage.   This means that any insurance company that wants to make money (and thats all) will “not provide” abortion coverage to access that database of subscribers.   Very sad…   Meanwhile, J-Lo’s first husband wants to sell a “sex tape” he made with his wife.   Now, what I wonder is if all those men that purchase that tape — and masturbate to it — should be condemned of having an abortion and have to forego their medical coverage.
