On Monday, President Obama spoke about the necessary regulations of Wall Street, but he did not discuss anything new. Also, he did not discuss how to fundamentally change how Wall Street is working and make it more beneficially to the economy overall. As America remembers the collapse of Lehman brothers, and the Dow seems to tick higher and higher based on the TARP infusion, the American people themselves are blugeoned by high unemployment rates and many (including the Obama administration) that are afraid of upsetting the status quo of Wall Street, which the punditocracy says is to big to “reform”. President Obama, do you still realize its 3 am?
