Must Read Blogs and Op-Ed’s — Sun, Feb 22, 2009
The Economy has hit the pages once again, with lots of talk and lots of rambling of such words such as “nationalization” and “depression”. I am finding it increasingly difficult to read about our financial establishments, American people in denial, and whether or not Barack Obama will walk across water to get to Congress on Tuesday to wave his hands over the loaves and fish and make us increasingly abundant again. I am sick of Krugman and Rich babbling on and on about how horrible things have become, yet offering no prospects towards solutions. I am starting to wonder why the media is so invested in “financial doom and gloom.”
As people wake up each day and make their way to work, and then go home and find less groceries are in the kitchen — believe me they are not in denial! The American people are hurting and suffering deeply. Yes, many have made grave mistakes, and been sucked in by preditory lenders, but that does not help them out of the circumstances they are in now. Possibly, part of the stimulus package should have been the government paying for every American to go to financial planning and debt elimination classes. Oh, thats right — Politicians want us to spend, because as Ari Fleischer stated, ”The American life is Blessed!”
What the American people need stimulated is a personal game plan to help them rebuild this country, rather than sitting brain dead waiting for the woulda, coulda, shoulda, attitudes from Washington. Can we get some solutions in the First 100 Days!
