Must Read Blogs and Op-Ed’s — January 26, 2009

As Caroline Kennedy moves away from the public spotlight, and Hillary Clinton moves to Foggy Bottom a new name has emerged in the wake of Governor Patterson’s firestorm.  Her name is Kirsten Gillibrand!   The blue dog democrat from the Montana — eer I mean New York rural districts.  Mostly unknown, but shockingly characteristic for her pro-gun, anti-gay, anti-women, anti-tax, pro-war, pro-Bush stances.  In other words, she is a DINO (Democrat In Name Only)!   The question now is not will Gillibrand be able to represent the people of New York, but whether or not Governor Patterson will be able to win re-election in a newly found hostile environment.
