Must Read Op-Ed’s — January 5, 2009
I woke up this morning and was horrified at what I saw. President Bush 1 on FoxNews declaring his expressed delight over the possibility of Jeb Bush either being President or a Senator. I almost felt like I had been food poisoned (recovering from bad chinese, wont go into the details) all over again! Then, I scan through the op-ed’s, because frankly things have been dead since Christmas, and noticed something rather curious. Everyone is still talking about Caroline Kennedy! I suppose, now that Hillary Clinton is Secretary of State designee, which is a non-political position the pundits have to find their new ”punching bag,” and Miss Kennedy seems to fulfill that roll in spades. Meanwhile, the domino effect of the scandal in Illionis is rolling downhill and has claimed a new victim — Governor Bill Richardson, who has declined the position of Secretary of Commerce. Will play to pay politics be the new theme as we move through 2009?
