Must Read Op-Ed’s — December 6, 2008
Ok, everybody sing now — “I say Obama, you say Ayers,”. I just couldn’t resist repeating the little ditty that Saturday Night Live portrayed the night Sarah Palin was on the show. Yet, out of the well of satyric melody arises the man himself who challenges the difference between Anti-War activists and terrorists. He attempts to clear his name, which was villified in the Presidential Election. Whether anyone will take him serious or not, only time will tell, but I will state it takes enormous amount of testicular fortitude to come out on the pages of the NY TIMES. Meanwhile, in nevernever land also known as the GOP, it appears that a few names besides Sarah Palin are drifting to the top of the scattered debris of the Republican Party. Take note that the AP is reporting that Jeb Bush is eyeing a Florida Senate seat, and Mike Huckabee has begun a trip to Iowa, the State that gave him a win, which allowed him to outlast several candidates during the Primary Season. Another name often mentioned is Bobby Jindhal, the Indian Governor of Louisiana. Speaking of India, many news sources are beginning to report on a possible concrete connection between the terror attacks in Mumbai and Pakistani terrorist groups.
