Must Read Op-Ed’s — October 18, 2006
The trend for the weekend focuses on voter fraud, robocalls, and Bush Administration signing statements. The later is what I wish to briefly focus on. The NY Times releases an editorial regarding President Bush’s latest signing statements, and how he is using them to override the congress. At issue is Bush’s recent signing statement regarding his right to control Iraqi Oil. During his administration(s), President Bush has signed more signing statements than all other President’s (thats all 42 of them) combined. Further, the Washington Post has put up a great piece regarding Dick Cheney, and the possible ”primer” for the Vice Presidency.
