Election 2008 Strategy Guide
Is this really a change election? If you believe the national polls Obama is controlling the general election (latest MSNBC/WJ Poll: Obama – 51% McCain – 43%) with an incredible ground plan and utilizing internet technology like no other election in recent history. Despite our past two elections lasting well past the midnight hours (including Election 2000 lasting until December 12, 2000), we could see this election ending early in the evening. Conversely, if Barack Obama under performs (which he did during many of the primaries against Hillary Clinton) in certain places (OH, PA, FL, NH), John McCain still has a chance to become President of the United States.
Chuck Todd on Hardball put together a ‘Strategy Guide’ for election night. His major focus is on Indiana, which despite all the focus on Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and Colorado could be the ultimate game changer of the election. Todd reveals that not winning Indiana, McCain could have enormous problems and very little chance of getting to 270.
