Afternoon Remix:

I must admit it was quite hard to take a break over pouring over twitter to check out the latest headlines.   Iran still seems to be dominating the news, but a few squeakers got through the headlines including Social Media Giant MySpace laying off 30% of its workers due to Ad Sales Decline.  In other news, according to a report on Talking Points Memo (Vis a Vis Times Picayune) Jindal Supporters are attempting to draft the Louisiana Governor for a run against Barack Obama in 2012.   Palin better milk Letterman for all its worth to keep herself on the front of the cable news cameras, cause she just might be ran over by the Jindal express.

Oh, the obsession!  Did I ever tell you that huge world changing breaking news is completely addictive?  Well it is!   Currently, I am flipping through all the major news stories and now search.twitter.com to see the latest on the #iranelection scenario.  According to Twitter sources, and not yet confirmed by any major news outlet, the Iranian Army is moving into Tehran against Protestors.  I will post once I have something confirmed from a major outlet.  Meanwhile closer to home, the Obama Administration has turned down California’s pleas for a “bailout”.    Could you imagine the states will want a bailout if Geithner gives into California’s pleas?
