Afternoon Remix:

Oh Sparkle Pony is at it again!   Let me state for the record that I did vote for Barack Obama, which hopefully will limit the amount of left wing fruit loop eating, cool-aid drinking Obamabots from spamming my email, but can this man make a solid stance on ANYTHING?  AT ALL?  EVER?  I believe the picture in the dictionary of Bill Clinton next to the word triangulation, should be replaced or at least update to a 2.0 version with a picture of Barack Obama.  Here is the deal — according to Reuters, Obama is having a hard time making a stance regarding the current election scenario in Iran. Instead he sends out Joe Biden to speak on behalf of the administration on Meet the Press, but is afraid that any comments by the US could lead to problems within the Iranian Political Process.   Meanwhile, Reza Aslan for “The Daily Beast”, says that this is the work of a military coup by the Pasdaran.  Ok, President Sparkle Pony, how can you make matters any worse in a coup?  I wonder if I should start an Obama Comment Clock on Defend Your Vote — after all Rachel Maddow is now calling him President Fierce Advocate.   However, after all his campaign prose, do we still know ANYTHING that this man believes in?  I’m having a clear Fo’ Shizzle moment here.

All IranTV Begins with a Side of Healthcare:

Oh, I am so glad the weekend is over.   If you do not watch cable news (and I am kind of withdrawing from it myself in place of podcasts and internet video news), then you will not know the agony that occurs each and every weekend.   Massive repeats on FOX and CNN make most of the weekend a boring yawn, and MSNBC insists on airing its latest or repeated episodes of “Caught On a 10 Year Old” (also known as Preditor, Lock Block, or any other random criminal show they air) rule the weekend news airwaves.  You do have Headline News as an option but after an hour of that, you are pretty much done with TV news for the weekend except the Sunday Morning talkers.

Then Monday comes and we are introduced to the story for the foreseable future,  ”ALL IRAN TV”.  How exciting huh?  You will get your all Iran TV with a dash of health care, as we move into the summer stories of “nothingness” that has given birth to such meganews stories as Chandra Levy and Scott Peterson.  This years staring role appears to be Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the President of Iran — as his grasp for power appears to be “limited” now that the Supreme Ruler/Leader/Religious person is calling for an investigation of the voter count.  Hmm….  Should we send them tapes of Election 2000?

With the somewhat contentious results of the Iran election, the world has witnessed much vocal opposition to the results on the streets of Iran. The result much disputed and caused violence and protests on the streets of Iran and around the world. Scenes of rocks being thrown and people beaten has littered the TV screens of the world as we witness this spectacle.

Now the most recent news is that an investigation into the voting is going to be taken. What will this mean for Iran? Who will end up coming out ontop? Will the true voice of the Iranian people be heard or has it already?
